Beechwood Park wins at Independent School of the Year Awards!

We are quite simply thrilled that Beechwood has been named as the Independent School of the Year for Healthy Eating in the Independent Schools of the Year Awards, in association with Independent School Parent Magazine.

Judges commented on the depth of pupil engagement in the numerous events and initiatives that Keeley, Emily and the whole team from Holroyd Howe put on each term – from themed meals from around the globe, to quizzes about allergy awareness and sustainability. The also commended the lessons in nutrition and healthy eating that pupils receive.

It is no mean feat to feed 700 hungry mouths every day, to cater for a number of food allergies, intolerances and preferences, at the same time as helping pupils make informed food choices.
