BEECHWOOD PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION
The BPSPA (Beechwood Park School Parents’ Association) organises events, supports school activities and helps to foster warm relations between parents, pupils and the School. It is an established part of the School and has proved a wonderful vehicle for parents, children and the School to work together.
Upon joining Beechwood Park, every family is automatically a member of the BPSPA, and parents are encouraged to participate in and volunteer to help with events across the academic year. In addition to hosting events that are lots of fun and provide opportunities for parents to meet each other and get together, the BPSPA has, over the years, raised considerable funds to support the School charities as well as to raise funds for school projects too.
MESSAGE FROM THE COMMITTEE
The BPSPA run events throughout each academic year and it is a wonderful opportunity to bring Beechwood Park families together socially for lots of fun. Talking of fun, Fun Night is without doubt the highlight of the school year as the School grounds are transformed into a fairground with rides and a variety of games, craft and food stalls for everyone to enjoy. But our social diary doesn’t stop there, we invite families to enjoy our open air cinema, the annual disco, the Beechwood Park Quiz Night and our famous Beechwood Park Ball, to name just a few.
We have a very strong school community with many parents involved in the planning and organisation of a variety of events and fundraising initiatives and we are always keen to welcome anyone who can offer their time to help – we are always very happy to find time for a cup of coffee and a chat!
