This week in Woodlands Nursery
Well, can you believe that our first term of this academic year is nearly completed? There have been so many highlights and so much progress and change. The little people who walked rather tentatively through the two sets of doors, back in early September, now run in through the doors most mornings and sometimes I even hear your ‘goodbyes’ go unnoticed!
From daily routines to outdoor play, from Phonics to French, from hand washing to Harvest Assembly and smiles to our Show, your children have permitted us to pack in a lot of new learning, creativity, communication and fun during their first term. They have made new friendships and together have created the unique culture of Woodlands for 21/22.
When I look around the Green and Orange classes in the odd moments that I get to reflect, my heart is content when I see smiling, laughing and completely engaged children, giving their all and finding pleasure in the simplest of things. The cardboard box, the blanket, the tin of magnets, the tray of glitter or the bowl of warm, bubbly water. Thank you for trusting us with your precious children this term. We will finish the term with their Christmas party next Tuesday 14 December, to which all of our Woodlanders are invited.
Three cheers for the Woodlands Class of Michaelmas ’21….Hip Hip Hooray (x3)!
